The rates will change if any adjustment or changes to the reservation is made. For any local promotions, corporate, walk-in or contracted tour/travel rates the Company does not apply the online rates. Promotional rates for online booking depend on certain additional terms and conditions related to that promotion. Being 21 years of age with a credit card and a valid driving license is an essential qualification of Hirer. It is guaranteed by the company to provide any make or model against any reservation. In case the specific car group/make/model is not be available at the pick-up point, the Company in entitle to offer an alternate make/model within the same group. Failure on the part of Hirer to pick-up their reserved vehicle from the Dollar office at the designated time on the booking will render this booking confirmation advise cancelled. Customers can enjoy unlimited kilometres only within UAE only. It is mandatory to drive on the right side of the road. Online bookings will not qualify for Frequent flyer miles/points. Extra charges will be levied for all additional coverages and charges such as Personal Accident Insurance (PAI), Collision Damage Waiver (CDW), Super Damage Waiver (SDW) ,traffic-parking or driving fines, Petrol and Re-fueling charges, Road-Tolls, Airport Parking, One-Way Drop Charge, Baby Seats, Deliveries and Collections. Same fuel level has to be maintained while returning the vehicle or refueling charge will apply.

You need to carry a credit card at the time of booking to guarantee the reservation however to be noted that no pre-authorization will be entertained at the point of booking. A pre-authorization will be processed on the beginning of rental with a signed credit card imprint that will be taken with the amount of the estimated total charges at time of rental pick-up. The person making the reservation must have the credit card and driving license in his name. Below is the list of accepted credit cards: American Express, MasterCard, Visa, and Diners Club. Credit card will be used to pay all charges including rental or additional day charges, optional insurance coverages (such as collision damage waiver and personal accident insurance), any traffic, driving or parking fines or violation including a 10% service fee, road-toll, insurance excess, damage or repair costs, petrol, baby-seats, delivery and collection charges, one-way rates, airport parking or other charges posted at any later time pertaining to the rental agreement. Charges will be deducted automatically form the credit card of the hirer.

It will be accepted by the Hirer irrevocably to pay and settle all charges related to the car hire to the Company on or before returning the car. If having a monthly agreement from month to month, the Hirer will have to settle the monthly charge at the expiry of every 30 days from the beginning date mentioned on the agreement, failing which he will authorize the Company to debit the monthly charge on the credit card mentioned on the Rental Contract that will include all charges against any extension beyond the hire agreement due date, set out in the schedule of charges or till the time the vehicle is actually returned, whichever is later.

It is mandatory for hirer to have a valid original driving license in his own name from resident country issued at least 1 year before the date of agreement. Those having passports from UK, USA, France, Belgium, Holland, Switzerland, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Sweden, Greece, Austria, Ireland, Spain, Norway, Canada, Poland, Finland, Republic of South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Romania, are allowed to rent a vehicle in the United Arab Emirates while on visit/transit/or tourist visa, based on their original driving licenses issued from the above countries. Whereas those from Republic of Korea, Japan, Turkey and Greece need to obtain an English translation of their license from their Embassy/or Consulate here in the United Arab Emirates before renting a vehicle. It is mandatory for visitors from all other countries to produce a valid International Driving License or a temporary driving permit from the nearest Traffic Department here in the United Arab Emirates before renting a vehicle. A valid GCC license is required for GCC nationals. And, those having a resident Visa in UAE must produce a UAE driving license. The license requirements are governed by UAE Laws in force and are subject to change.

Theft-Protection & Third Party Liability

Renting rates include theft-protection and third-party liability. The company advises the hirers to obtain and produce a valid Police Report as per UAE law in case of theft/ accident and /or damage to the rental car. The UAE court verdicts will be final to settle all claims.

The waiver to super, collision or loss damage will be optional. It will be the responsibility of the renter to pay for damages to or loss of use and any related costs and expenses resulting from any collision or damage to the rented vehicle. The renter can purchase the waiver at the commencement of the rental and will be applicable only when it is listed on the Vehicle Hire Agreement and also corroborated by a valid police report in the case of any damage or loss caused to the vehicle while being used, operated or driven in conformity with the other terms of the Vehicle Hire Agreement. A hirer will be liable to pay for all repair costs and damages including all third party costs, if he does not produce an original Police report to Dollar in the event of In the event of any accident or damage. All insurance and Third Party Claims will be considered void unless supported by a police report. It is advised by Dollar to Hirer to opt and pay for Collision Damage Waiver/Super Damage Waiver separately at the daily rates stipulated on the tariff card, on commencement of rental.

It is advised to hirers that they will be made to bear all costs including any third-party, resulting from a damage or accident due to the influence of alcohol, drugs, or intoxicating substance, as it is prohibited as per UAE Laws. All insurance will become void in such cases.

It will be the liability of the hirer to bear the Insurance Excess or deductible amount listed on the Vehicle Hire Agreement in case of any damage or loss (including fire and theft) caused to the if it is used, operated or driven in conformity with the Vehicle Hire Agreement. Collision or Loss Damage Waiver may be included in certain contracted tour rates but the minimum deductible will be applied as listed on the Vehicle Hire Agreement.

Hirers will enjoy unlimited kilometres only within UAE. But they may drive the vehicle into Oman by purchasing Oman Insurance Cover note only from the Company. Price for such insurance covers ranges from AED 350 depending on car class. It is strictly forbidden to drive to Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Yemen and Kuwait. The company advises the hirers to discuss any out of country driving with the Company's Representative while beginning the rental.

If the hirer meets any accident or damage, he is recommended not to remove the vehicle without informing the police and obtaining a police report. In the case of accident or damage, the Hirer will be liable to bear the Insurance Excess amount indicated on the Rental Contract provided a Police Report is submitted. The hirer will be liable for all damages and repair costs including loss of use if he fails to obtain a police report because insurance company will not compensate the Company without this report. The meaning of the term "motor vehicle" refers to the motor vehicle hired and described over-leaf along with all accessories thereto.

It will be acknowledged by the hirer that the vehicle was given to him in good and running condition by the Company with air-conditioning well functioning and the fuel tank was full. The Hirer pledges to use and maintain the vehicle return it to the Company in the same good and running condition at the expiry of the contract; to maintain sufficient water and oil in the vehicle during his possession of the vehicle; to bear the cost of all petrol and oil necessary to keep the vehicle operational. It will also be pledged by the hirer; to deliver the vehicle to the Company after every 5000 Kms for lubrication otherwise the hirer has to satisfy the company that such service has been duly carried out every 5000 Kms; to re-deliver the vehicle to the Company with full tank petrol; to compensate the company for all losses that the Company may suffer after the hirer fails to comply with his obligations in terms of this clause. If the vehicle develops any mechanical snag during the hire period, it will be the duty of the hirer to immediately deliver the vehicle to the Company for repairs. It needs be acknowledged by the Hirer that he/she will bear the cost of any repair work done or put in hand by him without the prior consent of the Company.

In case the vehicle gets damaged in any way whatsoever during the period of this agreement, the company can take possession of the vehicle and conduct necessary repair work without prejudice to any right which the Company may have against the Hirer for damages. In such scenario, the period of hire will remain continue and the hirer shall be made to pay the Company the basic rental until the repairs have been completed.

If the vehicle is damaged due to any cause against which the vehicle is insured, the hirer shall be liable for the amount of such damage up to a maximum amount as mentioned on the Vehicle Hire Agreement provided the compensation in respect of such damage should not be recoverable at law or the company in its sole discretion should decide that such compensation is not economically recoverable from any other person. The Hirer shall be liable to pay the Company the full amount of such compensation. The Company will be indemnified by the hirer against all claims whatever and howsoever arising from the use of the vehicle or the manner in which it is driven, while being in the possession of the hirer in terms of this agreement.

It will be warranted and undertaken by the hirer that he/she is duly licensed to drive the vehicle. The license of the Hirer will also be exhibited to the Company whenever the company demands. The vehicle will not be driven by any person who is not duly licensed. The vehicle will not be used for races, towing, competition of any sort or for the transport of merchandise or the transport of passengers for hire or in the course of business by the hirer of any other person.

The vehicle will not be used to transport articles that might cause damage to the vehicle or its upholstery. Liquor, drugs or any other contraband items or any other item prohibited by law will not be transported by the vehicle. The vehicle will not be used by the Hirer for the rental or sub-letting or giving up possession thereof during the period of hire. In case of any fault in the vehicle or any accident in which it is involved or if the vehicle is stolen, it will be the duty of the hirer to immediately inform the company and further complete such forms as may be required by the company and generally assist the company in any claim which the Company may make against its insurers arising out of any such accident or theft. The Hirer ensure and testify that all information given by him and statements made on the Vehicle Hire Agreement are true and correct to his knowledge, and the Vehicle Hire Agreement is based upon the faith of such statements. If the Hirer commits any violation of any term of this Agreement or if any person during the period of hire uses the vehicle in a manner which the Company considers prejudicial to its rights and interest therein, the Company will be in a legal standing to cancel this agreement instantly and recover the vehicle without prejudice to the rights of the company to claim the hire charges due in terms of this agreement and/or damages. The domicillium citandi at executandi has been chosen by the Hirer at this present residential address where all notices and processes may be served upon him. It will be the responsibility of the Hirer to protect the vehicle against any loss and damage that may result due to carrying/transporting contraband goods or any other prohibited items by law and by committing any illegal act/omission under the laws of U.A.E or the laws of any other countries, where the vehicle is being used by the Hirer. The Company does not take any responsibility responsible regarding any of the Hirer's personal belongings left in the car. The Hirer will be held liable for his any negligence like not locking the vehicle, keeping key in the vehicle, etc. that may result into the theft of the vehicle. The Hirer will be liable for settling all parking charges levied on the company by airport authority, if he fails to give the Airport Parking Ticket to the Company's Airport Office for parking the rented vehicle at Dubai Airport.
